Art lighting for architecture
Lighting conceived as sculpture, engineered for the space it occupies
Berkana Crystal creates large-scale crystal compositions for double-height entrances, stairwells, dining rooms, hospitality interiors and commercial architecture. Each piece is developed around the volume it will hang in - its proportion, its sightlines and the way daylight and lamplight move through cut crystal.

The catalog is a design vocabulary
The model shown online establishes the design language, approximate scale and MSRP reference. Berkana Crystal then adapts the composition to the project. Nearly every project changes something.

Crafted in the Czech Republic
Bohemian crystal, made by hand
Berkana Crystal fixtures are manufactured in the Czech Republic by Elite Bohemia, using Bohemian crystal and a process that remains roughly ninety-nine percent handwork: glass drawn and blown, cut, polished, assembled, wired and tested by the same workshop.
Berkana Crystal is the North American face of that work - developing project requirements, coordinating custom design with the Czech team, and supporting the project through installation.
Berkana Crystal itself is run by one family. A commission is answered by an owner, not an account manager.
