Crystal travels from the Czech Republic. This is how it gets to a project, who handles the paperwork, and what to settle before it ships.
Where Berkana Crystal ships
Berkana Crystal provides worldwide door-to-door shipping directly from our Czech workshop, including throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other international destinations. We coordinate the logistics and import process from the workshop to the project site. Professional installation is also available throughout the United States as an additional service.
How a fixture is packed
Each Berkana Crystal fixture is professionally packed for secure worldwide transportation. Individual crystal components are carefully cushioned and protected, while larger compositions are organized and crated as complete sets with a clear assembly sequence to support an efficient and accurate installation at the project site.
Customs documentation
Berkana Crystal prepares the paperwork: commercial invoice, packing list, and whatever else the destination requires for clearance. You do not file anything.
Who pays the duties
Berkana Crystal covers all applicable import duties and customs charges, so clients are not responsible for unexpected import fees upon delivery. Worldwide door-to-door shipping is coordinated directly to the delivery address provided by the client. The only additional shipping cost a client may incur is if the original delivery address provided is not the final project destination and additional transportation is required afterward.
Timing
Production runs approximately five to six weeks for small fixtures, six to eight for medium and semi-large, and eight weeks and up for large custom compositions. Transit and clearance sit on top of that. If a date is fixed — an installation, a handover — say so at the start and it will be planned backwards from it.
On arrival
Inspect the crates before signing. Note any damage on the carrier’s paperwork at the point of delivery: that record is what a claim rests on. Photograph anything that looks wrong and send it to us the same day.
Warranty, deposits and cancellation
Terms are issued in writing with the quotation and travel with the order. Custom work is made to a specific project and cannot be returned once production has started, so the deposit and cancellation terms are worth reading before you commit. Ask for them early — we would rather you read them than discover them.
